The 13th edition of Melloblocco, the world's biggest bouldering and climbing meeting, came to a close today in Val Masino - Val di Mello, Italy. 2800 registered climbers underline the success of the event which has no other equals in the climbing world.

04/05/2014, Val Masino, Italy. The 11th Melloblocco came to an end today; once again the international bouldering meeting proved to be the biggest event of its kind worldwide, with 2600 registered climbers and more than 4000 people in Val Masino and Val di Mello.

02/05/2014. Day 2 of Melloblocco started with a light drizzle and this gave way to the sun in the afternoon. In any case rain didn't stop play, climbing continued as more than 1400 reached Val di Mello. Full house is expected on Saturday and Sunday.
01/05/2014. The sun's rays embraced Melloblocco and Val Masino today. A superb present that the more than 1000 registered Melloblockers capitalised on fully. Each in their own way, of course. And so everyone, each in their own time, on their own problems and difficulties, started to... climb. Up every boulder in the valley and on every rock face.
Wednesday 30 April 2014. The 11th Melloblocco begins today at 21:00 in Val Masino - Val di Mello, Italy. The world's biggest and most famous bouldering meeting, organised by Associazione operatori Valmasino, will run until Sunday 4 May. 1969 climbers have pre-registered for the event, but the number of Melloblockers who will reach the valley is bound to rise.
The last day of the 10th Melloblocco. 10 days of climbing and bouldering to reaffirm the unbreakable bond between Val Masino - Val di Mello and the Melloblockers. All 2,000 climbers have promised to return next year.
While over 1300 Melloblockers have already registered and many more are expected, sunny Val Masino welcomed the initiative Climbing without limits promoted by the region of Lombardy, CIP, FASI, ERSAF which aims at a different form of taking to the mountains, for everyone.

Plenty of new arrivals, rock climbing and boulders sent by everyone in Val Masino. The fun even included baby climbing, a boulder contest with the Lombardy Mountain Guides and Melloclip, the competition for the best photos and videos taken by the Melloblockers who continue to reach the Valley from all over the world.

[Saturday 27/04/2013] Last night marked the start of the 10th Melloblocco, the festival that will transform Val di Mello - Val Masino into the world's capital for bouldering and climbing until Sunday 5 May.
Melloblocco returns to Val di Mello - Val Masino from 26 April to 5 May. This is the world's biggest international bouldering and climbing meeting. This edition will be remembered not only because it marks the 10th anniversary of what has become much more than simply a classic climbing event, thanks to the number of participants and the spirit that distinguishes it.
Sunday 6 May 2012. The final day of the 9th Melloblocco ended with some magic by Russian Alexey Rubtsov who managed to send, in the rain, the problem Ombre Multidimensionali. 2200 climbers took part in the event. The competition was won by Shauna Coxsey, Michele Caminati, Anthony Gullsten and Alexey Rubtsov.
