The Dates for the 2007 BRYCS have been decided upon following a public consultation. They are: Round 1 – 10 March 2007 Round 2 – 24 March 2007 Round 3 – 28 April 2007 Final – 30 June 2007 Venues are being arranged as we speak and will be announced asap. If you live in Wales or the South West of England you will be interested to know about a re-definition of these regions: The first ever all Wales Youth Indoor Climbing Championship will be held at the Welsh International Climbing Centre in Trelewis on 11th November 2006.If you live in Wales and are between 7 and 17 years old, you can enter the competition.  Following this event the 2007 British Regional Youth Climbing Series (BRYCS) will see a few changes: The North Wales region and the South Wales and South West Region will be reorganised into the Wales region and the South West region. The South West region will compete as normal in the regular BRYCS regional rounds. The Wales region will host two rounds in North Wales and, on the same two days, two rounds in South Wales. Competitors may choose which round to enter. The third round will effectively be the 2007 Wales Youth Indoor Climbing Championship. The first, second and third placed climbers of the third round / Welsh final, will qualify for the national BRYCS final. Dates for the rounds will be published soon.
