Bolting at High Tor

by Kate Anwyl High Tor Derbyshire Dales District Council has reported a recent incident where a climber was seen installing bolts on a sport route at High Tor, Matlock.This involved removing some hawthorn at the top of the crag, deliberately placed to discourage abseiling.High Tor is a sensitive area and climbers are asked to contact the local BMC access rep in future.
