Creamer & Schirrmacher Going Well

Despite a bout of unusually warm, but damp weather the Sheffield based pair of Lucy Creamer and Katherine Schirrmacher have been busy ticking down at Raven Tor, that classic bastion of Peak sport climbing. Lucy made an impressive 4 day ascent of Boot Boys, an f8a+ at the very top of the graded list. Originally Boot Boys was a few grades easier, but has lost a number of crucial holds and seen only a handful of recent repeats. Meanwhile, swapping to the sharp end of the rope Katherine Schirrmacher made a 3 day ascent of Out Of My Tree, f8a, her second route at this grade. In addition Lucy climbed the classic boulder problem  Ben´s Roof, Font 7c+, after 3 days of effort (and plenty of attempts over the past few years). Lucy heads to France later this week for the winter. ———————————————————————– If you have any news worth reporting please contact Matt – matt@planetfear.com / 0114 2969114 ———————————————————————–
