Leo Houlding Documentary on TV

We´ve just received news from Berghaus that Leo Houlding has been chosen by the BBC to open its popular adventure series ?Extreme Lives? with a documentary entitled ?My Right Foot.? Determined to get back to fitness and start climbing again Leo teamed up with producer/director Ed Stobart to film his road to recovery. The film follows Leo from July 2002 to the present day and shows the highs and lows of his recovery through to his return to the rock face for the first time since the accident. Although very much a climbing film, with some thrilling close-up action sequences of big wall climbing in Yosemite and Mexico?s Potrero Chico, the film also aims to capture Leo?s free spirit and his love of life, whether free climbing the world?s most beautiful mountains or dancing all night at Ibiza parties. ?My Right Foot? airs on BBC1, Tuesday 29th April at 11.15pm and is a must-see for anyone who belongs to, or is curious about the new generation of climbers, for whom climbing is as much a way of life as it is a sport.
