Neil Bently Badly Injured in Dolomites

Reports have been received that top grit climber and manager of the Foundry Wall in Sheffield Neil Bently has been badly injured in a long fall in the Dolomites. It is understood that Neil was climbing with Foundry owner Paul Reeve when he took a long fall, possibly after dislodging a loose block. His injuries include displaced vertebrae, a broken eye socket, a broken jaw, a broken arm or wrist, and a broken ankle or leg.
