Statements

Rolf G. Schmid – CEO Mammut Sports Group and president of EOG
"The EOG is grateful to everyone who contributed to the European Outdoor Summit. In particular, we thank the BSI/FGO for hosting and organising an excellent summit, and the numerous sponsors and partners whose support made the event possible. Last week's event showcased outdoor industry cooperation at its very best and most effective."

Mark Held, General Secretary of EOG

"Like last year, the 2014 European Outdoor Summit was characterised by a broad international atmosphere. It was encouraging to see so many European markets represented at the event, as well as guests from other parts of the world. Both summits have been very well attended and received, which supports our decision to rotate the location. So, we were delighted to confirm that the 2015 event will be held in the UK and organised by the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA), and look forward to working with the OIA to deliver another very successful summit next year."

Nicole Espey, CEO of BSI
"We are happily looking back to a successful German EOS. Speakers, participants and sponsors created an inspiring and dedicated atmosphere, and the range of future oriented issues such as digitalisation and sustainability was remarkable. From our point of view, this summit set a special course. But we are also looking very much forward to next year's event in UK."
