Tressider Smashes Cuillin Ridge Record

On saturday Es Tressider from Edinburgh broke the Cuillin Ridge record by a massive 15 minutes. Es, who a while back wrote an article on environmentally friendly climbing, took the bus and hitch hiked home after the run! His time was 3 hours 17 minutes and 28 seconds (Andy Hyslop previously held the record at 3 hours 32 minutes and 15 seconds). Es on the Innaccessible Pinnacle He´d previously tried the ridge on a number of attempts, either being rained off or running out of water.
