Valence Leading World Cup Results

The seventh round (out of eight) of the 2007 Leading World Cup took place in Valence, Spain this past weekend with all still to play for in both the overall mens and womens catergories. The mens final results where: 1 Patxi Usobiaga SPA2 Ramón Julian Puigblanque SPA3 Jorg Verhoeven NED4 Flavio Crespi ITA5 Michaël Fuselier FRA This results means that Usobiaga remains only 10 points ahead of Ramon Julian with 1 round remaining. Whoever wins in the final round will likely take the overall world cup title. The womens results where: 1 Maja Vidmar SLO2 Angela Eiter AUT3 Natalija Gros SLO4 Muriel Sarkany BEL5 Lucka Franko SLO The top two females, Vidmar & Eiter, have a commanding lead in the overall competition with Eiter marginally ahead overall even after Eiter´s win. Like the men´s catergory, the winner will come down to the final round in Slovenia. The final round takes place in Kranj in Slovenia on the 18th November.
