In this video Whitney Boland talks about her life in Chattanooga, her relationship with a chronic disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) as well as her relationship to climbing. For many people climbing is a form of therapy for Whitney that has taken on a whole new meaning.

Whitney Boland has been on the Sterling Rope team for years, she originally joined in 2005. In addition to Climbing she loves to travel and is an accomplished writer. She has been published in Rock and Ice magazine and numerous other print and on-line publications such as Women's Health, Aspen magazine, Climbing magazine and Rocky Mountain Sports just to name a few.

Follow along in this video series filmed and edited by Joey Kinder with help from his wonderful girlfriend Collette as they travel the globe connecting with some of the best climbers in the world who, like him, have all chosen Sterling Rope.
