Weekly Odds & Sods

Carl Ryan has sent us a mini report on the climbing in Pembroke over the May Day weekend. Carl, a Pembroke officionado, reckons it is the busiest he has seen it since 1997. Queues were to be seen for many of the old classics, with a few rare repeats thrown in for good measure. Pictured below is the recent Range West briefing which saw nearly 100 climbers in attendance, and Steffan Doerr cooly climbing the rarely-if-ever repeated Martin Crocker desperate Obsession Box, E6 6b, in Box Zawn. Both pics are courtesy of Carl, whose website is on its way… The next two briefings (compulsory attendance at at least one is required to climb at Range West) are on:   Saturday 20 May 2006 Saturday 29 July 2006Briefings commence at 9am and take place at the Castlemartin Camp.
