Weekly Roundup

Further to our reference last Saturday on the planetFear news of the Normanton Girls´ Club and their TV appearance this week we received the following email of thanks: Thanks for including the Normanton Girls? Club news in the weekly roundup. Still waiting for the exact numbers but we were presented with a big cheque for £50,000 and a bottle of Champagne at lunchtime today :o)  A great big thank you to every one that voted. Cheers Tim Maoist rebels in Nepal struck a deal this week with the country´s multi-party government in which they agreed to lay down their arms and enter parliament. Under the terms of the deal, which ends a decade of civil war, parliament, including the Maosits, will be formed by 1 December. The monarchy will remain powerless until a constituent assembly, which has yet to be elected, decides its fate. Hopefully good news for the tourist and mountaineering industry of Nepal. Climbing Magazine are reporting that 10 mountaineers are currently missing in Nepal, including 1 Briton on Ama Dablam. ———————————————————————– If you have any news worth reporting please contact Matt – matt@planetfear.com / 0114 2969114 ———————————————————————–
