The second World Cup Final of the season takes place in Hovden, Norway this evening with the British team making a strong presence – unfortunately mainly in the B Final. Laura Daniel makes her GB Senior Team debuts and her World Ranking is high enough (142) to see her jump straight into the A Final alongside Pippa Whitehouse and Becky Carlyle who qualified from the races in Finland and Helen Palmer who also gets in on her World Ranking. Lizzie Adams, Tessa Hill (junior), Karen Heppenstall and Mhairi MacKenzie (coming back from injury) run in the B Final. In the Men´s race Mike Sprot makes his debut and will run the B Final along with SYO clubmate Neil Northrop, Joe Mercer (junior), Duncan Archer, Dan Marston and Ant Squire. Jon Duncan will be running the A Final and hoping to build on his 15th position from Finland. Full start lists can be viewed here And there should be a link to the results here Most of the GB athletes are also staying on to run the World Ranking Events at the Norwegian O-Festival events over the weekend.
