A 10-year-old girl saved her injured father who fell while climbing with her in Austria.The German girl was with her 39-year-old father climbing the 1,500-metre Wilder Kaiser mountain in Tyrol when he fell.She managed to reach him, tied him securely to an outcrop of rock, so he wouldn´t fall further, and then abseiled down to a safer point and started shouting for help.Her calls were heard by a climber who raised the alarm. The injured man was taken to hospital in Innsbruck. Makes it seem like that self-rescue course for children is worthwhile, doesn´t it? ( Source: Ananova (climber) )
