The BMC are seeking a part-time Technical Officer £21,219 – £23,838 full-time equivalent The BMC is seeking to appoint an individual to develop and expand the work of the BMC Technical Committee and Equipment Investigation Panel. The role will focus on providing quality information and advice for climbers and mountaineers on the technical aspects of climbing equipment and hardware (including fixed equipment) and the use of such equipment. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate interest and experience in the technical aspects of mountaineering equipment and will be a strong communicator. This is a part-time post (3-day week / 21 hours) based in the Manchester office. Flexible working arrangements will be negotiable on an individual basis.
