The North Wales limestone bouldering mecca that is Parisella´s Cave (aka Cave of Justice) has seen 3 new problems added to the ever growing list of pure lines and esoteric link-ups. Chris Davies has added 2 new problems with first up Daisy from Concrete getting the hefty grade of Font8b/V13. Daisy is a link-up that begins from the sit start of Cleaver Beaver and then traverses into East Coker to create a 22 move pump fest that has the crux at the end in the form of Trigger Cut (7c+/8a).

Also in the cave Chris climbed another link-up which he describes as “a line from the starting hold of Beaver Cleaver, throw to the lip with your left and bail rightwards via toe hooks into Clever Beaver, thus giving Clever Badger 7c/+”.Not content with putting up 2 new lines in the Cave, Chris also took advantage of the good weather in Llanberis Pass to climb an extension into the classic Diesel Power (V11/8a) at the Cromlech boulders. Chris states that the Diesel Power Extension “takes in a reverse of George Smiths classic ´Elementary Traverse´ (V7) from the low arete and bumps the grade to V12/8a+” Back in the cave, Gaz Parry has added to his list of recent first ascents by adding Broken Heart (Font8a). Gaz describes the problem on his blog as a “stand start on Lou Ferrino ramp at the shothole followed by a really dirty shoulder move into the undercut on the BigLink to finish as for Green Heart connection.
