Event: BMC Climbing Injury Symposium in November

One Move Too Many? A weekend devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of climbing-specific injuries (acute & overuse) with international experts.

One Move Too Many?Aim:
To improve the understanding of climbing related injuries: their prevention, diagnosis and management.

Who for:
Doctors, surgeons, allied health professionals, climbers, parents of dedicated climbers, sport & exercise specialists.

When & where:
Saturday 13 November & Sunday 14 November 2010 at the Workstation, Sheffield.

The symposium is a solid weekend of evidence-based talks and workshops given by medical surgeons and doctors (specialising in hands, feet or shoulders), a physiotherapist, podiatrist, national climbing coach, strength & conditioning specialist and nutritionist.It is not necessary that any participant should be a climber to gain the insight or benefits of this event.  An introduction to climbing or master-class climbing sessions will take place each afternoon at The Edge Climbing Centre in Sheffield.

Prices are as follows:

Attending the symposium and climbing Saturday & Sunday = £80
Attending the symposium only Saturday & Sunday = £70

Accommodation is available at £35 per person per night, based on 2 sharing.
