Foot and Mouth Update

Following from the new guidelines issued by the Government, Stanage is planned to be open by the weekend. Also, Chair Ladder and Tryfan Bach (Little Tryfan) are open, as is Craig Bwlch-y-Moch and Craig Pant Ifan at Tremadog. Plans and risk assessments are under way to hopefully open Snowdon and Cwm Idwal by bank holiday weekend. It is also understood that all sheep are being removed from MOD land in South Pembroke. They are hoping to have this done by May 26th.Subject to no new FMD outbreak in Ireland, and walkers and climbers following good practice guidance, access restrictions will be lifted in Ireland on 11 May.
