Ben Heason is currently working on the new Froggatt guide and has been busy checking grades and having fun by the look of it. Over the past three weeks he has amassed the following list of ascents: Onsight: Jugged Hare E6 6a/b Hary Heart E6 6a Headpoint: Dick Van Dyke Goes Ballistic E7 6b – a Dave Pegg route on Brookside Buttress – probably 2nd ascnt Art Brut E7 6b(Dave Thomas´s route on the Great Slab – originally called Harelib or Balding) – probable 2nd ascent Bud E7 6c – Andy Popp route – possible 3rd ascent Renegade Master (solo) E8 6c – Possible 3rd solo ascent And yesterday he onsighted Jasmine E7 6b at Bamford Update: Wed 7th November On the 5th of November he climbed a new route on a sadly neglected buttress below the Froggatt path, and called it Bonfire Sloper, E7 6b. It tackles the bold wall right of Esau on slopers. Then on the 6th, he did another route on the same buttress and called it ´Chin Grinder´ (because of the horrible mantle at the top), E6 6c. This one is left of Just Crack. The names may be changed!
