Hardest Trad Climb?

Canadian Sonnie Trotter has climbed the long standing project ´Cobra Crack´ in Squamish, British Columbia. Weighing in at 5.14b/c this makes it not only the hardest crack climb in the world, but also perhaps the hardest trad climb of all. Famous for bagging the first ascents of hard cracks Switzerland?s Didier Berthod spent a significant amount of time on the route last year but failed to red point it. Sonnie tried it over thirty times before success. Read a short bio of Sonnie on the Patagonia website where he states “I also want to climb Cobra Crack (5.14b). It´s striking. Its energy is magnetic. It´s the most beautiful line in the world, and maybe for the time being the most difficult. An ascent would be a combination of beauty and challenge.” Source: Gripped ———————————————————————– If you have any news worth reporting please contact Matt – matt@planetfear.com / 0114 2969114 ———————————————————————–
