Jonothan Conville Fundraiser

The Jonathon Conville Memorial Trust was set up by his family after he tragically died on the North face of the Matterhorn in the winter of 1979/80, aged just 27. The Trust´s aims are to encourage and assist young individuals to train for and pursue outdoor adventure in the spirit that Jonathan followed during his life, by providing subsidised courses in Alpine and winter mountaineering. Together with the BMC the trust has been able to subsidise over 2000 students over the past 20 years, but has to supplement its modest annual income by raising money to offset inflation and rising costs of guides etc.Melissa (Jonathon?s sister) this year had the idea of a fund-raising drive after a friend raised £30000 for charity by running the London Marathon, and is open to any and all ideas that you can come up with! Any help you can give the trust to enable it to continue making the mountains a safer place for young people will be gratefully received, and if your mind?s a blank, donations are always appreciated.
