The Webcrag reports: “Former southern California resident Lisa Rands has continued to impress since moving to the town of Bishop located on the Eastside of the Sierra Nevada. She and boyfriend Wills Young traveled to Boone, North Carolina for 16 days during the month of October where Lisa went right to work, winning the women´s division of the Hounds Ears Bouldering Competition. Lisa then set her sights on several area test-pieces, making the fourth ascent of Two Pop, V9/10 at the Lost Cove area, the third ascent of Lever 2000, V8/V9 (taking only 45 minutes) at the Cube Area, Matt´s Prow, V8 (third try) also at the Lost Cove area, and Left Off, V8 (fifth try) at the Grandmother area. “
