Chief Officer – Mountaineering Council of IrelandAs a vital step in completing a restructuring and strengthening of the organisation, the Mountaineering Council of Ireland (MCI) is now recruiting its first Chief Officer. The Chief Officer, working in conjunction with the Executive Committee and the MCI?s staff, will lead the organisation to achieve its strategic goals. Key responsibilities of the post include: raising the profile of the MCI; developing and maintaining effective communications with members and key stakeholders; managing staff; and ensuring the MCI secures, and optimises use of, the resources necessary to support its development.The successful applicant will have management experience, strong leadership skills and the visionary drive to take MCI to a much higher level of performance and impact.
