Welsh Indoor Climbing Centre in Trouble

by Alan James The Welsh Indoor Climbing Centre at the Taff Bargood Centre is in financial danger according to a report on icwales.co.uk.The centre was opened in 1997 with plenty of backing from the Millenium Fund and the Welsh Office, and it is one of the biggest indoor walls in Europe. It is currently running at a profit but it apparently has ´old debts´ that it can´t service. The fate of the centre depends on an emergency meeting where it is hoped that a rescue package can be drawn up.
