Josune Bereziartu of Spain, the first woman to climb F8c and F8c+ is retaining her reputation as the strongest woman in the climbing world. She recently climbed Noia in Andonno, Italy, another F8c+. Then in France she managed Total Eclatch, F8c, Last Soul Sacrifice, F8c, and impressively onsighted Deverse Satanique, F8a+. Whilst on the subject of sport climbing, Andreas Bindhammer of Germany has completed Kinematix at Gorge Du Loup in France. The route, which combines Total Eclatch, F8c and Honk, F8b/c, weighs in at a tentative F9a.
