VIDEO: Bishop Super Highball Goes Ground-Up

Dan Beall has made the 3rd ascent and the first ground-up ascent of Luminance (V10/11) in Bishop, California, USA.He climbed the super-highball problem on October 17th using four pads and three spotters.The line features hard climbing above a horrific landing. The sloping rock shelf below the problem gives way to a boulder-strewn ravine and most climbers opt to tie their spotters on to the ledge for safety.Dan Beall's ascent was followed just a few days later by Charlie Barrett, who headpointed the line for it's fourth ascent.You can read more about his ascent on the Bishop Bouldering Blog.
