DMM 2012 Frankenjura Roadshows

DMM has been running these type of "demo events" in Germany with Ben Slack from export sales at the helm for the last three years. They're a great opportunity for climbers to try out the kit, see the range, ask questions and meet some of the DMM Climbing Team in an informal and friendly atmosphere. There'll also be the chance to have a go at assembling a carabiner along with testing some to destruction.

At the Kletter Festival, trad climbing workshops will give the opportunity for climbers to get hands-on experience of placing Wallnuts and cams, on the lead, under professional instruction. A climbing wall erected over Betzenstein's outdoor swimming pool will provide an ad-hoc DWS venue, and no doubt plenty of entertainment.

Pete Robins and Emma Twyford will be packing their swimwear for the DWS comp. In nearby Auerbach the German bouldering national competition will be taking place during the same weekend.
