8C traverse or 8Bb+ by Fred Moix

Boulderinginfo reports that Fred Moix has added an 11 move start to Fred Nicole´s classic traverse Joyeux Léon, 8B+ at La Balmaz (FA back in 1992). He calls it Pompon Léon, „8C in the old school traverse grading or 8B+ as a boulder.“ (c) Thomas Guérin.Check the debate column on how the 8a news policy on reporting boulder grades and a comment from Fred that´s inline with the 8a statement since 2002.
