Source: Everestnews Outspoken American legend John Bachar has been hurt in a car crash in Nevada. The crash resulted in the death of Steve Karafa, president of Acopa, and minor injuries to John´s partner Anastasia. Bachar is most well known for his soloing history, having once offered $10,000 to anybody who could follow him for a day (nobody tried!), and his bold leads such as the Bachar-Yerian route in Yosemite.
