ACE Races and Detail Merger

ACE Races, the brainchild of Phil Humphries who single handedly introduced Adventure Racing to the UK, and responsible for the likes of the Wilderness ARC and The Full Monty, is to jointly share responsibility for the epic races with Detail Events. Detail, in turn headed by Jim Mee, is currently responsible for the hugely popular Urban Rat Race series, televised by Channel 4, and the Polaris Mountain Bike races. The addition of ACE Races will make Detail the most powerful player in the UK Adventure Racing market by some considerable margin.
