An Early Duel for the Winter Warriors

Winter has started with a bang in Scotland. Following a week of blizzards, Dave MacLeod and Alan Mullin joined forces to make an onsight 2nd ascent of The Duel IX,9 in Glen Coe. The ascent is the first ever repeat of any Scottish IX and also the first onsight flash of this grade. MacLeod led the crux ´wall´ pitch, while Mullin made short work of the offwidth pitch in under 40 minutes, despite a worsening blizzard. Alan Mullin starting up the offwidth pitch (pitch2).
