Bollinger skips a mono

Frenchman, Pierre Bollinger, a.k.a. the down-grader from Alsacehas opened Protection rapprochée, 8b+/c, at Gueberschwir in his home region. Judging from what we know about Bollinger and rating, 8b+/c should equal approximately 8c/c+, or maybe I´m simply being unfair… Anyway, the route already existed as an 8a, but our hero chose to skip a drilled mono. Now that´s actually admirable, especially if you consider monos is in fact Bollinger´s favorite kind of hold.
