Last night Chris Sharma finally succeeded on one of the word´s most prestigious open projects, the extension to Biographie at Céüse. He has typically decided not to grade it, but accepts that it must be 9a+ (5.15a). The extension adds 16m of 8c climbing to the top of the existing 8c+. The grade has been summarily confirmed by Dave Graham and Steve McClure, who were out there trying it with him. The route was a goal of his for 4 years.
