by Mick Ryan – UKClimbing.com Shiny Things (click to enlarge) Nicola Wilding won the DMM My First Outdoor Lead essay competition, but although the photo shows her at the Llanberis Mountain Film Festival with a rack of DMM gear after she had read out Confessions of a Coward (which will be available for viewing at UKClimbing.comsoon) she has yet to make her final gear selection from the array of DMM gear available (DMM – website). DMM are also sorting out the prizes for Jo Horne (Petticoats and Promises) and Rob Carlin (M1, Avon Gorge – 1986).
