The draft maps for accessing land in Pembrokeshire, Meirionnydd & Eastern S Wales, under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act are now out for public consultation. Conducted by the Countryside Council for Wales, there are a number of public consultation events in each area. “It is important to get local climbers and hill-walkers involved in checking the access land is correctly mapped, so please look at areas you know well. Comments can be made direct to CCW or through the BMC, the main thing is to get the views heard!”, say the BMC.
