8a.nu are reporting that Yuji Hirayama has at long last fulfilled his dream to become the first person ever to onsight F8c. The route, White Zombi, is in Baltzola in Spain. Yuji had to wait for three days before he felt that the conditions were good enough to go for it. Back on April 27th we reported that Kilian Fischhuber flashed a route of the same grade, Tai Chi, at Loruns in Switzerland. Back in 1999 Yuji onsighted Mortal Kombat at Castillon in France. The route was originally graded F8c, but has since been downgraded to F8b+.
