First female solo of The Nose

Yosemite speed master, Hans Florine reports on speedclimb.com that Jacqueline Florine became the first woman to solo The Nose on El Capitan on June 21.She spent 4 nights on the wall, the first one at the top of pitch 8, the second on El Cap tower, where she fixed to the top of the Texas Flake.The next night was at camp 4, having fixed to the Great Roof and the last night at camp 6.She topped out at 1.33pm on the 21st. In May, Jacqueline also soloed Lurking Fear.
