Despite few activists, the standard of Sottish bouldering is continuing to rise rapidly. Back in Febuary, Glasgow cellar king Paul Savage claimed a tentative Font 8a+ with his problem My Evil Twin at Sandyhills in Dumfriesshire. Evil Twin has just been repeated by on form Dave MacLeod who is not arguing with the grade of the burly 14 move line. Dave felt the line suited him very well, having smooth, positive holds similar to Dumbarton Rock.Dave has also rounded off the development of Glen Massan by bagging the other highball line to go on the House boulder; Rapier Font 7c. This was done third go by Dave after ripping off an undercut on a previous sortie.
