ClimbingMedia.com has been informed this morning by Cafe proprietor and climbing hero Eric Jones (photo below) that Tremadoc has been opened for climbing. There is now an electric fence at the top along the edge of the fields, and climbers are being asked to abseil off rather than walk along the footpath at the top. There is no parking at the base of the cliffs, but there is free parking at the cafe. Tremadog is the first major crag to re-open since the foot and mouth restrictions came into force.
