From Planet Climbing Ben Heason took advantage of a break in the bad weather to complete a project of his at Froggatt. Ozbound (Ben´s heading off to Oz) takes a blank looking and direct line between Turd Burgler and Dogs Die in Hot Cars on the boulder below Valkyrie. He´s graded it a tentative E8 7a. He also (on the same day) headpointed the rarely climbed Neon Dust on Valkyrie Buttress, E6 7a. The Font 7C+ start has been bouldered plenty of times, but most then scurry leftwards rather than continuing up the bold crimpy wall between Valkyrie and Narcissus. Last week he also made probably the first onsight ascent (without the pre placed runner – virtually impossible to place on lead) of Better Dead Than Smegg, E6 6c – a direct start to Brightsid.
