Into Thin Air – Channel 5

This Thursday (Oct 4th) ´Into Thin Air – Death on Everest´ is due to be shown on Channel 5 (15.35 till 17.15). It is based on the events of the disastrous 1996 season in which a storm claimed the lives of a number of guides and clients in their attempt to conquer the world´s highest peak. Jon Krakauer wrote a controversial book about his first hand experiemces of the events called ´Into Thin Air´.
