Jemma Powell 5th in World Champs

Jemma Powell secured an excellent 5th place in the World championships in Canteleu in France this weekend. 38 competitors started out on Friday and afer two routes Jemma was in eleventh place, the top 26 making it through to the Saturday. Jemma just failed to top the route on the Saturday but had just done enough to make it through to the finals on sunday in 8th place. First out Jemma climbed well and reached about 3/4 height after missing a useful crimp next to a sloper.Full results will follow shortly….. Jemma on … name that root?
