Justin Critchlow snatches 2nd ascent of Against The Grain with 7a dyno

Justin Critchlow has won the race for the second ascent of Against the Grain at the Roaches lower tier.He took three falls during the attempt on Saturday December 8th before finally latching the sloping ramp and finishing the route. On the same day Andi Turner, the other prime candidate, took four falls before finally conceding and leaving it for another day. He hopes to get the 3rd ascent this week. Both Justin & Andi concur: the grade is E6 7a as opposed to first ascentionist Simon Nadin´s proposed E5 6c.
