As of Saturday the Upper and Lower Tiers of the Roaches and the ridge path from Roaches gate to Roaches end will be open. This will include what is known as the open access area. NB There will be NO access to the following areas Hen Cloud, 5 Clouds, Skyline Buttress, or the bouldering area beneath the ridge. The park and ride scheme will not be in operation until the May bank holiday weekend. Also, just confirmed by the BMC, access to Froggatt and Curbar is to be regained as from this weekend. Again, No Dogs. Access is from below the Grouse pub or Curbar Gap only (which will be clarified shortly on the BMC website). Woodland below the crag will remain out of bounds.
