New 9a+ by Ramon Juliá

Ramón Juliá has climbed an extension to La Rambla at Siurana in Spain. La Rambla itself is 8c+, and the extension has repelled plenty of the world´s strongest climbers (including Dani Andrada). A quick look at Ramon´s pedigree – he recently climbed Kinematix, 9a, in 5 goes – shows that it´s a fair assumption to believe that he is right in grading the route 9a+. It took him 40-50 goes to get it!This makes it the third ´official´ 9a+ in the world, alongside Realization, and Orujo, with Akira still sticking in there at 9b. Thanks to 8a.nu for this news
