This is a similar situation to the the incidents which closed the island two years ago – UKClimbing.com news report. On this occasion visitors to the island were allowed home, but the 26 members of the residential staff quarantined themselves for nearly two weeks.This comes at a bad time for climbers since this is prime Lundy season outside the annual nesting restrictions.
