Parnell and Kirkpatrick – 2nd ascent of Lafaille Route

Andy Kirkpatrick and Ian Parnell have just completed the second ascent of the Lafaille Route on the west face of the Petit Dru.It was climbed last year and claimed to be the hardest route in the Alps.The pair climbed the route, albeit with some variations, at new wave A4 with pitches up to Scottish VIII.A full account is available on the Expedition and Alpine board by clicking the thread below.
