With spring fully arrived in the Peak District, the BMC have issued the following release about Bird Restrictions. Millstone Please continue to avoid all routes in the Twicker Bay and the North Bay area. The BMC asks Climbers to avoid the well used descent ridge between North Bay and the Cioch. If you have to use it, please stay quiet and do not linger. Stanage There are no restrictions over the May Day period Ravensdale There are no restrictions at present Roaches / Five Clouds The position at Fourth Cloud is currently being reviewed on the 28th April 2006. If you are visiting after this date and the signs have been removed, the restrictions will likely have been lifted. Remember that Dogs must be kept on lead in open country
