Piotr Turkot reports: Miroslaw Wodka, who is 40 years old, climbed the very technical, vertical slab Tyranozaurus rex, 8c, in Podlesice. He has tried this specific route for many years. Grzegorz Plesniak has reapeted Power Play, 8c, on Pochylec near Cracow. It was the 3rd ascent of this 30-meters long line. Power Play is one of most difficult polish routes. Krzysztof Sas-Nowosielski managed to send Pijane Trojkaty, 8c, on Wielka Cima at Podzamcze (the most impressive limestone area in Poland). It´s a very long climb, which is a combination of three other routes and offers many boulder cruxes. The young power in Polish climbing Marcin Wszolek (17 years old) climbed Dezintegracja formy, 8c, at Podzamcze, he decided to downgrade this route (where the crux is a very difficult dyno) to 8b+. He compared Dezintegracje… to two other 8b+´s which he managed to climb in the last month (Ogrod Rozkoszy Ziemskich and Proba Turinga at Dolina Bedkowska near Cracow).
