After many years of competing together in the OMM Elite class, Ifor and Alun Powell have finally won it. The weather conditions on the first day of the race were challenging with visibility less than 20m for most of the day. The Powell brothers, both of whom are renowned navigators, were obviously not intimidated by the low cloud and set a blistering pace from the start.British Orienteers Neil Northrop and Matt Crane dominated the A Class eventually winning by a staggering 94 minutes.
